Handcrafted Car Audio was born from a love of mobile entertainment and a desire to provide a service that is scarce. There is, unfortunately, a lack of professionalism, courtesy and above all, knowledge in this industry. We feel that this has had such a negative impact on the industry that it is viewed as trivial and unnecessary. This is where we intend to make a difference.
We are distinguished by having; one of two currently certified MECP Master Installers in the state of Arizona whom has also been nominated for Installer of the Year by Mobile Electronics Magazine, over 14 years of experience and completed numerous training courses. We can offer a service of courtesy, professionalism, and knowledge unparalleled by our colleagues.

Most places will sell you an "Amp Kit" pre-packaged with too much power, speaker and signal cable, all of which is wasted money for inferior product. They will sell you whichever product they need to move that week to get a spiff. They will tell you what you need because it's what they personally like, not what you want. Worst of all, they will mis-treat your vehicle and perform low quality installations only to pass the buck when that poor quality rears it's ugly head. You've heard the horror stories; vehicles getting damaged, driven through red light cameras and even catching fire! There is a reason why they are so cheap! They do not listen to you, they do not care about you and the DO NOT deserve you as a client!

We understand that every person's needs, taste and desires are different, as is their vehicles. This is why every aspect of your experience with us is custom tailored for you. We set an appointment to meet with you to talk about your wants, needs and expectations one-on-one. This way you have our attention 100%, this is the only way to make sure we hear you loud and clear! We include you in the system design process, such as sketching out a custom panel, deciding component locations and taking build pictures to share with you later. We custom make your audio cables and cut to proper length all of your power and speaker wires. This way, you pay for what you need, nothing more and you don't have to worry about 6 extra feet of signal cable bunched up somewhere picking up noise. We special order product that we, together, have chosen specifically for your vehicle. This is all a part of our Scientific Method, it's how we can guarantee the right experience, every time!

Our Scientific Method

The Handcrafted Car Audio Scientific Method was designed and implemented with one goal in mind, total customer satisfaction. Instead of rushing you into our highest margin product before you have a chance to think about it, this process allows us to take our time with you.

Step One - Define the problem.

Together, we will sit down and discuss your needs, limitations and personal tastes. We have a structured interview form that narrows down every detail about your dream system, what your vehicle can support and your listening habits. Once the interview is complete, we will know exactly; which products will give you the experience you desire, which vehicle upgrades will be necessary to support your new entertainment system and how to fine tune it to your liking.

Step Two - Formulate a hypothesis.

In this step, we will discuss the product that we have chosen for you, why we have chosen it for you and what other choices there may be. We will also discuss the installation of the product, any special requirements for the vehicle and the amount of time the installation will take. This is the part where the ball really gets rolling! Product gets ordered, appointments get set and you are just that much closer to your dream system.

Step Three - Test the hypothessis.

This is the most crucial step to the overall experience, the installation. In this step, we will meticulously install the products and implement the designs that have been discussed. All of your concerns and desires are kept in the forefront of our minds while we work on your vehicle and we take every necessary precaution to keep it safe and clean. Rest assured that we will not move on from this step until it has met the specifications of step two.

Step Four - Interpret the results and report.

After all the dirty work is done and the dust has settled, we move in for final preparation. When it comes to setting up your system, we don't believe in factory defaults or tuning it by ear. If we install an alarm, we discuss the optional programmable features the alarm includes with you and set them to your liking. If it's a mobile video system, we help get the screen settings to where you want them. And if we have audio equipment to tune, thats when the big guns come out. Our sound system Calibration and Tuning is second to none and is guaranteed to give you great sound and lasting, reliable operation. We tune with precise instruments, not our ears. This is the only way to ensure that you are getting the most that every components has to offer without being harsh or damaging. Once the settings and tuning are done, we have only to deliver your vehicle, show you how it works and watch your smile (and ego) grow.
